Jalapeño Cheddar Protein Bagels

Servings: 4 Bagels
Ingredients:
1 cup of cottage cheese
1 jalapeño
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 cup of SELF RISING flour (sub gluten-free flour)
1 egg for egg wash
Instructions:
Start with preheating the oven to 375 degrees
Shred cheddar cheese & chop jalapeño (I de-seed mine)
In a bowl, combine diced jalapeño & cheddar
If using cottage cheese, I blended until smooth (it makes preparing the dough easier) 1 cup of cottage cheese and 1 cup of self-rising flour into the bowl with the other ingredients. Knead together until dough forms (it's sticky, but don’t be scared, keep kneading.)
Form into a ball and then cut the dough into four even pieces. Roll the dough out and form a bagel shape
Scramble one egg & paint your bagel so the toppings stick.
Add extra jalapeño slices & cheese for garnish.
Bake at 375 for 20–25 minutes till golden brown
