Carne Asada Bowls
Ingredients:
Marinade:
1 1/2 lbs flank or skirt steak
1/4 cup of soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 an orange
1 tbsp garlic
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Seasonings:
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Fajitas:
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1-2 tbsp siete taco seasoning
Directions:
1. Marinate steak: Allow steak to marinate for an hour-overnight. The longer the marinade the more flavorful the steak will be!
2. Fajitas: Roast the fajitas at 425 for 20-25 minutes till tender and edges are charred. For additional crispiness broil on high for additional two minutes.
3. Pair: Pair with a cilantro lime rice or black beans for more fiber!
4. Top: Top with cilantro, greek yogurt, and a squeeze of lime juice for more flavor!
